A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 4 of Title 1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to holidays and observances, so as to designate "Alzheimer´s Awareness Day"; to amend Chapter 6 of Title 49 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to services for the aging, so as to provide for minimum dementia-specific training requirements for employees and independent contractors who are involved in the delivery of care to persons with Alzheimer´s disease or Alzheimer´s related dementia; to establish the State Alzheimer´s Disease Commission; to provide for its membership and duties; to provide for an annual report; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
