A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 33-20A-31 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to definitions relative to a patient´s right to independent review with regard to managed health care plans, so as to amend the definition of the terms "medical necessity," "medically necessary care," and "medically necessary and appropriate" with regard to a patient´s right to independent review of a decision of a managed care entity; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
