Internet Child Pornography Prevention Act; violations by internet service providers

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 2 of Article 3 of Chapter 12 of Title 16 of the O.C.G.A., relating to obscenity offenses related to minors generally, so as to provide a short title; to provide definitions; to provide that it shall be illegal for an Internet service provider to fail to remove or disable access to child pornography items residing on or accessible through its service after notice; to provide for notice to Internet service providers by the Attorney General; to provide for penalties; to provide for applications to remove child pornographic items residing on or accessible through an Internet service provider´s service; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
