A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 4 of Chapter 13 of Title 19 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the family violence and stalking protective order registry, so as to clarify the use of standardized forms and a court´s ability to modify the form; to specify the sheriff´s duties with respect to updating and maintaining the registry; to provide for registry of foreign protective orders; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
