School Child Protection Act; transfer students in dangerous school; discipline unruly behavior on school buses

A BILL to be entitled an Act to enact the "School Child Protection Act"; to amend Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to elementary and secondary education, so as to provide for a pilot program for transferring students enrolled in dangerous schools to other schools within the school district in which they reside; to provide for the adoption by local boards of education of policies regarding unruly behavior of students on school buses; to provide for a monetary reward to certain students reporting the presence of an explosive device or a weapon on real property used for public elementary or secondary education; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
