Senate
Resolution 464
By:
Senator Rogers of the 21st
A
RESOLUTION
Commending
Jeffrey Crow; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Jeffrey Crow attained the rank of Eagle Scout at the astonishing age of 12 and
is currently president of the Venture Crew for Crew 994; and
WHEREAS,
Jeffrey Crow, now 17, continues to demonstrate his aptitude and competency in
mastering the various special skills taught through the Boy Scout program;
and
WHEREAS,
every Eagle Scout candidate must complete a community service project before
achieving that rank, and Jeffrey conducted a car seat safety check in
conjunction with Safe Kids Georgia, a most important project because incorrectly
installed car seats pose major safety issues; and
WHEREAS,
this outstanding young man has truly exhibited a commitment to the scouting
principles of honesty and fairness and has consistently conducted himself in a
manner becoming an Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS,
in a world which consistently seems to accentuate the negative aspects of the
actions of young people, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to
recognize with particularity the outstanding accomplishments of this
extraordinary individual.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Jeffrey Crow for his diligence and dedication in pursuing the highest honor
awarded by the Boy Scouts of America and his continued dedication to the
scouting program.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Jeffrey Crow.
