RESOLUTION
Commending
Elder Sandra Anderson; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Elder Sandra Anderson has long been recognized by the citizens of this state and
her community for the vital role that she has played in her community;
and
WHEREAS,
she is an anointed woman of God with a true mission and passion to reach the
lost; and
WHEREAS,
although she was not raised in a Christian environment, she gives credit to God
for having plans for her life; and
WHEREAS,
currently a doctoral student, Elder Anderson is an ordained minister at Faith
Worship Center International under the pastorate of Dr. Ann L. Hardman;
and
WHEREAS,
she was employed by Beacon University as a recruiter and as a member of the
administrative staff; and
WHEREAS,
she serves as an inspirational speaker for HeartBound Prison Ministry in
Atlanta, Georgia, where she ministers in prisons throughout the state, and she
serves as first area coordinator for Prison Fellowship, a mentor at Teen
Challenge, and a certified volunteer chaplain for the Georgia Department of
Corrections; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Elder Sandra Anderson for her dedication as a motivational speaker and extend to
her their most sincere best wishes for continued health and
happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Elder Sandra
Anderson.
