RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending, Canyun (Lucy) Zhang, Sprayberry High School's STAR Student for
2007-2008; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Canyun (Lucy) Zhang has been selected as Sprayberry High School's STAR Student
for 2007-2008; and
WHEREAS,
this outstanding student has shown by the example of superior academic
accomplishments that the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success is within
the reach of the students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
this Star Student personifies the selfless dedication, mental agility, and
personal maturity necessary for superlative academic performance;
and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the extraordinary
accomplishments, intellectual achievements, and unsurpassed commitment to
excellence of such an outstanding individual.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body heartily
commend Canyun (Lucy) Zhang, Sprayberry High School's STAR Student for
2007-2008, and express to her their sincerest best wishes for continued success
in the future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Canyun (Lucy) Zhang.
