RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending the Georgia State Council and P.A.W. Executive Board of Bishops
Conference; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Georgia State Council was formed in October, 1944, under the leadership of
Elder Robinson, at the home of Sister Dora Honester; and
WHEREAS,
the Georgia State Council P.A.W., Inc., has grown immensely over the years and
this year's Georgia State Council and P.A.W. Executive Board of Bishops
Conference will be held at Jonesville Baptist Church of the P.A.W., Inc., in
Savannah, Georgia, on March 5 through March 8, 2008; and
WHEREAS,
it is only fitting and proper that the Georgia State Council and P.A.W., Inc.,
be recognized for their outstanding work in the Savannah area.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
the Georgia State Council and P.A.W., Inc., on the valuable services they
provide to their community and the state, and congratulate them on their
conference to be held at Jonesville Baptist Church in Savannah,
Georgia.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the Georgia State Council,
P.A.W., Inc., and Jonesville Baptist Church.
