Thompson of the 33rd, Seay of the 34th and Johnson of the 1st offered the
following amendment:
Amend
the committee substitute (LC 33 2504S) to SB 458 by striking the last sentence
of sub paragraph (2) on lines 15, 16 and 17 of page 3 in its entirety, and by
adding a new sentence in lieu thereof, to read as follows; The public school
system shall accept the student subject only to space being available. The
public school system shall report the student for purposes of funding to the
department; or
