The Honorable Seth Harp
State Senator
State Capitol, Room 121-D

SUBJECT: State Auditor’s Certification
Senate Bill 434 (LC 38 0542)

Dear Senator Harp:

This bill would amend provisions relating to retirement and pensions, so as to replace references to the “Department of Technical and Adult Education” with the “Technical College System of Georgia.” This change would occur in Code Sections relating to the Employees’ Retirement System, Teachers Retirement System, and the Public School Employees Retirement System.

This is to certify that this is a nonfiscal retirement bill as defined in the Public Retirement Systems Standards Law.

Respectfully,

/s/ Russell W. Hinton
State Auditor
