BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Part 6 of Article 4 of Chapter 5 of Title 12 of the Official Code of
Georgia Annotated, relating to coastal waters, beaches, and sand dunes, so as to
change certain provisions relating to an automatic repeal of the Georgia Coastal
Management Act; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Part
6 of Article 4 of Chapter 5 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, relating to coastal waters, beaches, and sand dunes, is amended by
revising Code Section 12-5-329, relating to automatic repeal of the Georgia
Coastal Management Act, as follows:
"12-5-329.
Unless
reestablished or continued by the General Assembly, this part shall stand
repealed in its entirety on July 1, 2009
Reserved."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
