Carter of the 13th and Chance of the 16th offered the following
amendment:
Amend
SB 216 by striking lines 14 through 17 of page 1 and inserting in lieu thereof
the following:
(2)
Any person who has been convicted of a felony and who has not been pardoned or
had his or her civil rights
restored;
(3)
Any person under indictment for a felony in any court in Georgia or any other
state in the United States or the federal courts; and
(4)
Any person accused of a felony pursuant to Code Section
17-7-70.1."
