Grant of the 25th offered the following amendment:
Amend
the Senate State and Local Governmental Operations Committee substitute to SB
200 (LC 28 3580S) by striking lines 10 through 14 on page 4 and inserting in
lieu thereof the following:
(14)
'Local governing authority' means any county or municipal corporation of the
State of Georgia other than a county that is subject to a millage rate cap on
county-wide taxes levied for the purpose of general maintenance and operation of
the county government.
