Senators
Brown of the 26th, Tate of the 38th and Fort of the 39th offered the following
amendment:
Amend
the Senate Education and Youth Committee substitute to SB 10 (LC 33 1719S) by
striking lines 16 through 19 of page 5 and inserting in lieu thereof the
following:
(a)
The maximum scholarship granted a scholarship student pursuant to this article
shall be the greater of $17,000.00 or twice the cost of the educational program
that would have been provided for the student in the resident school system as
calculated under Code Section 20-2-161.
