A RESOLUTION

Commending Rachel Caruso, Stephen David, Jordan Henderson, and Cameron Youngblood of White County for saving the life of their fellow student, Robbie Frye; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, on the afternoon of Thursday, October 19, 2006, children riding home on the school bus were alarmed to discover sixth-grader Robbie Frye choking on a Crème Saver hard candy; and

WHEREAS, recognizing the urgency of the situation, Rachel Caruso quickly informed others that her half-brother was choking; and

WHEREAS, Robbie Frye's half brother Cameron Youngblood, along with friends Jordan Henderson and Stephen David, immediately and unhesitatingly performed the Heimlich maneuver; and

WHEREAS, owing to the students' training in the White County High School ROTC program, the three boys cooperated successfully and acted gracefully under pressure, despite the gravity of the situation; and

WHEREAS, the actions of these students merit the highest of applause.
