RESOLUTION
Commending
Myke'la Lee Lewis on her outstanding achievements; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Myke'la Lee Lewis resides in Decatur, Georgia, and is the daughter of Michael
and Pamela Lewis; and
WHEREAS,
she is in the sixth grade at Mary McLeod Bethune Middle School; and
WHEREAS,
she was recently honored as a member of the Principal's Honor Roll for getting
straight A's in her classwork; and
WHEREAS,
she also received a certificate for perfect attendance at school;
and
WHEREAS,
Myke'la is a cheerleader for the Gresham Park Jazzy Rattlers and a member of
the Junior Beta Club; and
WHEREAS,
her project for the County Social Studies Fair, entitled "Who were the First
Citizens of Georgia?", won a second place ribbon; and
WHEREAS,
she also finds time in her busy schedule to participate in the Girl Scouts;
and
WHEREAS,
it is only fitting that this compassionate, energetic, and caring young lady be
honored for her hard work in and out of the classroom.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Myke'la Lee Lewis on her outstanding achievements and wish her
many more successes in the years to come.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Myke'la Lee
Lewis.
