A RESOLUTION


Commending Pastors Reginald and Wanta' Ezell; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Pastor Reginald Ezell is a native of College Park, Georgia. After graduating from high school, he worked for a large printing company in Atlanta. Working his way to a managerial position, his heart's desire was to work full time in the ministry. That desire was honored at World Changers Church International; and

WHEREAS, in his numerous capacities at World Changers, he went from sound technician to Crusade Director for Dr. Creflo A. Dollar, Jr., ultimately becoming one of the most sought after counselors at the ministry. He established a group of men called "Pastor's Personal Aides," also known as PPAs. His "Whatever it takes" attitude has impacted churches and ministries across the country; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Ezell received his ministerial license in 1992 at World Changers Church
International. God birthed in him a tremendous revelation on Servanthood. He felt that it was God's desire for His people to know what they were called to do and how to serve Him completely. God revealed to him the need for understanding in the church body concerning "Servanthood"; and

WHEREAS, in 1994 God called him to begin an outreach ministry called Servants of the Lord World Outreach Ministry, Inc., to assist pastors, prophets, apostles, evangelists, teachers, and ministries of help who has been called by God to "equip the saints for the work of the ministry." He taught these biblical principles of Servanthood as he traveled throughout the world; and

WHEREAS, he has written many books. His best-selling book, "A Heart to Serve," is a true account of his own experiences as a servant of God to his pastor as Crusade Director, personal assistant, and friend. His latest book, "Becoming a Five Talent Man," empowers you to step beyond the normal realm of self to the next level of Servanthood. These books are used as teaching and training tools in churches and ministries around the world; and

WHEREAS, God has expanded his vision to include pastoring. With the endorsement of their pastor, Dr. Creflo A. Dollar, Jr., Pastor Ezell and his wife began "World Covenant Christian Center" in Stockbridge, Georgia, November 2006; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Wanta' Ezell was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from high school, she obtained a Bachelor of Marketing degree from Georgia State University. She began her professional career as a Manager of Bank South National Bank; and

WHEREAS, in 1994 she began to carry out the call placed on her life, which was to assist her husband, Pastor Reginald Ezell, in the ministry. God revealed to her the need for understanding finances in the body of Christ. Being a marketing major and having worked in the financial field, she was inspired to teach and train the fundamentals of Starting a Church/Ministry, Church Management, and Taxes; and

WHEREAS, she enjoys educating pastors and their staff on general church administration and proper bookkeeping procedures. Her workshops on grant writing, entrepreneurship, and real estate investing have made her well known across the country. She continues to visit churches, keeping them informed of the current rules and regulations pertaining to organizations and as required by law; and

WHEREAS, affectionately known as Pastor Wanta', she and her husband are excited about fulfilling the vision that God has set before them. God's greatest plan and most rewarding one is their appointment as shepherds of World Covenant Christian Center in Stockbridge. She and her husband are excited about this move of God in their lives. Having the blessings from their spiritual father, Dr. Creflo A. Dollar, Jr., makes this move of God most rewarding; and

WHEREAS, Pastors Reginald and Wanta' Ezell have five children and reside in Stockbridge, Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Pastors Reginald and Wanta' Ezell for their many achievements and contributions to the welfare of their community and this state.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to Pastors Reginald and Wanta' Ezell.
