A RESOLUTION


Expressing regret at the passing of Bobby Deante Warren; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, strong, intelligent, creative, and entertaining are only a few of the qualities God bundled up for an extraordinary gift that arrived June 10, 1981, blessing the life of Bobby Lee Warren and Ethel Simmons Warren with their son, Bobby Deante Warren; and

WHEREAS, with nurturing and love, he grew to become a young man full of ambition and a great sense of humor; and

WHEREAS, he made one of the greatest decisions of his life and joined the Jones Chapel AME Church on July 9, 1991, where he served faithfully as a steward and usher; and

WHEREAS, Bobby graduated from Georgia Military College Preparatory School and attended Georgia Military College, pursuing a degree in art and business; and

WHEREAS, Bobby worked diligently to obtain his goals of becoming an artist and a writer; and

WHEREAS, counted among his many accomplishments was becoming a certified general manager at the Holiday Inn Express in Milledgeville, Georgia; and

WHEREAS, Bobby De´s journey of life came to an end on November 22, 2006; his travel down life´s highways was well explored, and he will be remembered for many wonderful things but particularly his creed, "Everyday, wake up with a purpose"; and

WHEREAS, it is only fitting this body should recognize this outstanding individual who contributed so much to his family, community, and state.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body express their deepest and most sincere regret at the passing of Bobby Deante Warren.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of Bobby Deante Warren.
