RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Pebblebrook High School for outstanding contributions to
education in the State of Georgia and excellence in student academic
achievement; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Advanced Placement Honor Schools program recognizes schools that have
committed to providing challenging Advanced Placement courses to as many
students as possible; and
WHEREAS,
Advanced Placement courses provide rigorous, college-level learning options to
high school students; and
WHEREAS,
Pebblebrook High School earned recognition as an Advanced Placement Access and
Support School; and
WHEREAS,
this honor reflects the results of the exemplary endeavors of the school's
students, the dedication of their teachers and faculty, and the many
contributions of their parents.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that Pebblebrook High
School is hereby recognized, commended, and congratulated for its outstanding
contributions to education in the State of Georgia, its excellence in student
academic achievement, and the great credit this fine school reflects upon Cobb
County and the State of Georgia.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Pebblebrook
High School.
