BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 48-8-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
exemptions from sales and use taxation, so as to extend the sunset or
termination date of the exemption for certain qualified nonprofit job training
organizations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and
for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 48-8-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to exemptions
from sales and use taxation, is amended in paragraph (85), relating to the
exemption for certain qualified nonprofit job training organizations, by
revising subparagraph (E) as follows:
"(E)
This paragraph shall stand repealed in its entirety on July 1,
2008
2010;
or".
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
