A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT


To amend Article 1 of Chapter 3 of Title 3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions for the regulation of alcoholic beverages, so as to limit the times during which sales of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises are permitted; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
Article 1 of Chapter 3 of Title 3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions for the regulation of alcoholic beverages, is revised by adding a new Code section to read as follows:
"3-3-10.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises in any county or municipality in which such sale is otherwise lawful shall be unlawful from 2:30 A.M. until 9:00 A.M. each day of the week and weekend."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
