BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Article 5 of Chapter 4 of Title 46 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, the "Natural Gas Competition and Deregulation Act," so as to provide
that the Public Service Commission shall adopt certain rules with respect to
charges for natural gas used in a structure in which broilers, pullets, or other
poultry are raised; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws;
and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Article
5 of Chapter 4 of Title 46 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the
"Natural Gas Competition and Deregulation Act," is amended by adding a new Code
section to read as follows:
"46-4-154.1.
The
commission shall adopt rules under which the dedicated design day capacity
factor applicable to charges for natural gas used in a structure in which
broilers, pullets, or other poultry are raised shall be in a reasonable amount
not to exceed 2.0."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
