BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act providing for the number of members and for the election of members
of the Board of Education of Fulton County, approved February 10, 1984 (Ga. L.
1984, p. 3591), as amended, so as to provide for salaries for the members of
such board; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for
other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act providing for the number of members and for the election of members of the
Board of Education of Fulton County, approved February 10, 1984 (Ga. L. 1984, p.
3591), as amended, is amended by revising subsection (b) of Section 4 as
follows:
"(b)
Each member of the Board of Education of Fulton County, including the president
of such board, shall be compensated in the amount of $18,500.00 to be paid in
equal monthly installments."
SECTION
2.
This
Act shall become effective on the first day of the month following the month in
which it is approved by the Governor or in which it becomes law without such
approval.
SECTION
3.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
