A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT


To amend an Act creating the Cobb Judicial Circuit, approved February 19, 1951 (Ga. L. 1951, p. 184), as amended, so as to provide for the supplement to be paid to each of the judges of the superior court of said circuit and an additional supplement for the chief judge of said circuit; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
An Act creating the Cobb Judicial Circuit, approved February 19, 1951 (Ga. L. 1951, p. 184), as amended, is amended by revising subsections (a) and (b) of Section 4H as follows:
"(a) Each judge of the Superior Court of the Cobb Judicial Circuit shall receive an annual supplement of $53,711.00, payable in equal monthly installments from the funds of Cobb County.
(b) In addition to the supplement provided for in subsection (a) of this section, the chief judge of the Superior Court of the Cobb Judicial Circuit shall receive $8,800.00 annually, payable in equal monthly installments from the funds of Cobb County."

SECTION 2.
This Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its becoming law without such approval.

SECTION 3.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
