inserting following line 30 of page 6 the following:
SECTION
4.1.
Said
title is further amended by adding a new Code section to read as
follows:
"12-8-25.6.
No
new permit for a landfill or modification of an existing permit for the
expansion of a landfill shall be issued if any part of the site for such
landfill is within seven miles upstream of a governmentally owned public
drinking water supply intake or water supply reservoir."
By
striking line 16 of page 7 and inserting in lieu thereof the
following:
without such approval and shall apply to all applications for new permits or modifications of existing permits filed on or after such effective date.
