BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Article 1 of Chapter 3 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to parks, so as to provide
that there shall be no limit on the length of time during which a senior citizen
who is a resident of Georgia may park a camper in a state park; to provide for
an exception; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Article
1 of Chapter 3 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to general provisions relative to parks, is amended by inserting at the end
thereof a new Code section to read as follows:
"12-3-12.
There shall be no limit on the length of time during which a citizen of this
state aged 62 or older may park a camper in a state park; provided, however,
that any such person who has been in a state park for longer than 30 days may be
required to leave according to rules and regulations in effect if the facilities
for campers in the state park are filled to capacity."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
