BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act amending and restating an Act known as the "Henry County
Development Authority Act," approved April 25, 2002 (Ga. L. 2002, p. 5046), so
as to provide for an alternative procedure to compensate authority members; to
repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act amending and restating an Act known as the "Henry County Development
Authority Act," approved April 25, 2002 (Ga. L. 2002, p. 5046), is amended by
revising paragraph (1) of subsection (e) of Section 4 as follows:
"(e)(1)
The compensation for the chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, and other
members of the authority shall be set by the Board of Commissioners of Henry
County."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
