BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 15-18-41 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to the composition of the Prosecuting Attorneys´ Council of the State of
Georgia, so as to provide for members of such council to be removed upon the
vote of the members of such council; to provide for related matters; to repeal
conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 15-18-41 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the
composition of the Prosecuting Attorneys´ Council of the State of Georgia,
is amended by adding a new subsection to read as follows:
"(e)
The council may, by two-thirds´ vote of the members, remove any member of
the council for failure to attend meetings, misconduct, incompetency, or neglect
of duty."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
