BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to revenue
and taxation, so as to repeal certain obsolete provisions relating to a tax
amnesty program to be completed no later than December 31, 1992; to repeal
certain obsolete provisions relating to a property tax amnesty program to be
completed no later than December 31, 1994; to repeal conflicting laws; and for
other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Title
48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to revenue and taxation,
is amended by repealing and reserving obsolete Chapter 16, relating to a tax
amnesty program to be completed no later than December 31, 1992.
SECTION
2.
Said
title is further amended by repealing obsolete Chapter 16A, relating to a
property tax amnesty program to be completed no later than December 31,
1994.
SECTION
3.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
