A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 31-10-15 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to death certificates, so as to provide that death certificates must be completed by the attending physician or other appropriate person within 72 hours following the death of an individual in a hospice, nursing home, or hospital; to provide for exceptions; to provide for certain notices; to provide for sanctions for failure to comply; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
