The Senate Budget and Evaluation Office (SBEO) was created during the 2003 Session. The purpose of the office is to give the Senate the independent capacity to develop the annual state of Georgia budget and evaluate the programs comprising the state budget. The mission is to provide accurate, objective, thorough, non-ideological and timely information about the state budget to members of the State Senate.
HOW TO OBTAIN INFORMATION
Requests for information can be initiated by telephone, email, or written correspondence. Requests are assigned to the budget analyst with expertise in the specific area to be researched. All requests for information and research will be completed within two weeks, unless a shorter, specific date is set. All information and research results can be communicated by email, diskette, or written document. Budget reports are also available at: www.legis.ga.gov/legis/2007_08/senate/budgetreports.htm
