| Creates a Georgia Bioeconomic Development Study Committee. The committee will consist of five members representing the life science industry, government, and universities. The speaker of the house shall appoint the chairperson and meet no latter than June 1, 2007, submit a report before December 31, 2007, and stand abolished February 15, 2008. The committee shall make recommendations to the General Assembly, study the need for venture capital to expand technologies in Georgia, to study the need for facilities, and study the need for a permanent board to oversee Georgia’s Bioeconomic Development Authority. | |||||||||||||||||||||
