Representative Larry O誰eal is the Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee of the Georgia House of Representatives, and represents House District 146, Warner Robbins, GA. Previously, Larry served for four years as a member of the Appropriations Committee and on the Judiciary Committee in the House. As a former accountant and currently a tax lawyer, Rep. O誰eal brings an auditor痴 knowledge to apply to budget deliberations and fiscal management.
Representative O誰eal was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2001, and served as House Floor Leader. His involvement with state legislation has been one of bipartisanship and distinction. Rep. O誰eal is known for being able to build relationships across the isle, and because of his legal and accounting background, he has a keen insight into the Georgia Tax Code, which will serve the House and people of Georgia well as Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee.
Representative Larry O誰eal is a partner in the law firm of O誰eal, Long & Hall, LLP. Larry is also a member of the Warner Robbins Rotary and the Georgia Bar Association. He also sits on the Board of Directors of BB&T Bank of Middle Georgia. He is married to Kathy O誰eal, and they have two children, Megan and Lawrence O誰eal III. He and his family are members of the Centerville Methodist Church.
