MELVIN EVERSON WELCOMES KATHY COX TO SNELLVILLE

 Superintendent Will Visit Schools & Teach a Class

ATLANTA—Georgia State Representative Melvin Everson (R-Snellville) today announced that he has invited Georgia Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox to visit three Snellville schools Friday, January 25, 2008, to meet with students, teachers and faculty.

“It is an honor to welcome Superintendent Cox to Snellville and to show off our exceptional students and faculty,” Everson said.

Cox will visit Shiloh Elementary School, Snellville Middle School, and Brookwood High School where she will teach a government class.  Cox’s schedule for the day will be as follows:

• 9:30 AM – Shiloh Elementary School, 2400 Ross Road, Snellville
• 11:30 AM – Brookwood High School, 1255 Dogwood Road, Snellville
• 1:30 PM – Snellville Middle School, 3155 Pate Road, Snellville
