State Representative Melvin Everson Secures Funding for Improvements to the City of Snellville

ATLANTA – Although he has only been in office for a few short months, State Representative Melvin Everson (R- Snellville) has made great use of his time under the Gold Dome in Atlanta’s State Capitol.

Just recently, the Representative secured a $25,000 local grant for the City of Snellville.  The funds will be used for the installation of new cameras inside police vehicles, sidewalk construction and the purchase of a new bucket truck, which will aid in city maintenance.

Representative Everson was delighted the funding was made available through this year’s appropriations bill.  “I look forward to securing even more benefits for my district in the future,” the legislator remarked.
