First elected in 2004, Representative Steve Davis is currently serving his second term as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. Representative Davis is honored to serve the people of House District 109, which covers parts of Henry County. His legislative duties currently include memberships on the Insurance, State Institutions and Property, Children and Youth, and Transportation Committees. Davis is an active member in the Conservative 216 Club and in 2007 was named Representative of the Year by the Republican Liberty Caucus.

Representatives Davis is an avid golfer and loves college football. When not fulfilling his law-making duties under the Gold Dome, Representative Davis is the Director of Sales for a local construction company and he is a licensed Realtor. He is happily married to his wife, Melissa and they have three children. Their son, Ryan, is a freshman at Georgia Southern University and their two daughters Kelli and Ashli are in middle and elementary school in McDonough. The Davis’ are very involved in the community and attend Kelleytown Community Church in McDonough.
