
Representative Hardie Davis

Representative Davis is husband to Evett Davis and they are the proud parents of Benjamin Joshua Davis. They have been residents of Augusta for twenty-two years. Hardie currently serves as Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Worship Center, a thriving non-denominational church located in Augusta, Georgia. Representative Davis serves as Senior Pastor of Abundant Life by providing ministry to the spiritual, social, financial, and emotional needs of parishioners. He is also the owner of a successful property management and wellness company.
Prior to his current position as full-time pastor, he served as Lead Automation Engineer with the Monsanto Company’s Biotech plant located in Augusta, Georgia.
Born in Macon, Georgia, he is a 1992 graduate of Georgia Tech where he obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree and 2002 graduate of Christian Life School of Theology where he received a Doctor of Ministry Degree.
In the Fall of 2006, Hardie was elected to his first term as State Representative. He currently serves on the following committees: Budget and Fiscal Affairs Oversight, Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, Natural Resources & Environment, and Science and Technology. Hardie was also elected by his fellow Democratic Caucus members to the position of Minority Assistant Whip.
