Clay Cox was first elected to the house in 1994. He has served on the following committees: Banks, Industrial Relations, State Institutions, Public Safety and Homeland Security, and he recently chaired the study committee on Pandemic Preparedness. Clay graduated 0from Western Carolina University. He and his wife Alisa have two sons and live in Lilburn.
