Education is one of the top priorities for the Georgia House of Representatives and the General Assembly. What better way to show your constituents you care then to visit your local schools? With a lack of involvement from our younger generations, we need to extend our knowledge and experience to help get them interested in government. Though this may not lead to a role in government, they will become a more knowledgeable citizen for the state of Georgia.

With the help of National Conference of State Legislators Back to School Program, we have multiple materials to help you connect with the students and educate them on the role of state government. This information is also available to teachers to help educate their students on the importance of state government and the part elected officials play in their everyday life.

Below are the materials separated by age group for you to use in this process. By clicking on the appropriate age group you will see the different materials available to you and your students. There are supplements, booklets and even a DVD to help them learn more. Each is available for you to download and save to the computer to use at your convenience.
