RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Ms. Anna R. Cablik; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Anna R. Cablik was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Corporation
State Workforce Investment Board; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Cablik is the president of ANATEK, Inc., and president and chief executive
officer of ANASTEEL & Supply Company, LLC; she is a partner of PanAmerican
Logistics, LLC, and serves on the board of directors for Georgia Power Company;
and
WHEREAS,
she is a member of both the Corporate Board of Branch Banking and Trust and the
board of the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Cablik previously served on the board of the United States Hispanic Chamber
of Commerce; and
WHEREAS,
she earned her degree from Canal Zone College in Panama; and
WHEREAS,
she and her husband, Jerry, have three wonderful children.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize
Ms. Anna. R. Cablik for the valuable services she provides to her community and
this state and commend her on her appointment to the Corporation State Workforce
Investment Board.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Anna R. Cablik.
