RESOLUTION
Commending
Pastor Robert L. Williams and Miracle Making Ministries, Inc.; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Pastor Robert L. Williams was called to serve as pastor, president, and chief
executive officer of Miracle Making Ministries, Inc., for the Augusta community;
and
WHEREAS,
whether the task is preparing a sermon, visiting the sick, or counseling the
troubled, Pastor Williams has shown the energy, devotion, and commitment truly
reflective of divine guidance; and
WHEREAS,
the unmatched spiritual assistance offered by Pastor Robert L. Williams and
Miracle Making Ministries, Inc., is a source of strength, inspiration, and
direction for persons in all walks of life and from all economic strata;
and
WHEREAS,
since its establishment, Miracle Making Ministries, Inc., has raised over
$320,000 annually for practical ministries and local missions; created a
volunteer base of 400 active members; performed over 7,000 salvations on local
mission fields; acquired more than 30 inner city real estate parcels;
established a primary care clinic for indigent persons; constructed low income
housing; assisted mentally ill and severely disenfranchised persons; provided
home repair for inner city elderly persons; and provided financial assistance
for utilities, prescription drugs, and other essentials for needy families;
and
WHEREAS,
the superlative services performed by Pastor Robert L. Williams and Miracle
Making Ministries, Inc., on behalf of the Augusta community are both
compassionate and indispensable, and it is abundantly fitting and proper to
recognize the outstanding accomplishments of this dynamic ministry.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Pastor Robert L. Williams and Miracle Making Ministries, Inc., for their
unparalleled record of community service and their innumerable good works
rendered on behalf of persons in need and extend to them their most sincere best
wishes for continued health and happiness as they serve God´s
will.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Pastor Robert L. Williams
and Miracle Making Ministries, Inc.
