A RESOLUTION


Honoring and congratulating Mrs. Lorraine Stella Solinko on the happy occasion of her 80th birthday; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Lorraine Stella Solinko was born on May 31, 1928; and

WHEREAS, she is a much beloved mother and grandmother; and

WHEREAS, this esteemed Georgian loves working with her church and serving the Lord and is especially known for her consideration of others as shown by her sending cards of good wishes and love and always putting others first; and

WHEREAS, she was a devoted and loving wife to her adored late husband; and

WHEREAS, this remarkable lady maintains a wonderful attitude and outlook and is an inspiration to all who know her; and

WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and by the example she has made of her life, she makes this world a better place in which to live; and it is only fitting and proper that she be appropriately recognized during this very special and memorable time of her life.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body congratulate Mrs. Lorraine Stella Solinko on her 80th birthday on May 31, 2008, and commend her for 80 years of caring devotion to her family and fellow citizens.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Lorraine Stella Solinko.
