RESOLUTION
Commending
the student representatives of Living Way Christian Academy and recognizing the
observance of Living Way Christian Academy Day at the state capitol; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the motto of Living Way Christian Academy is "Experience Love. Find Acceptance.
Discover Purpose," as it is an institution proud of its family atmosphere and
dedication to academic and spiritual excellence; and
WHEREAS,
Living Way Christian Academy is committed to the mission of extending
unconditional love to all people, recognizing each person as a unique creation
with unique gifts, and planting the Word of God into the hearts of all who will
hear; and
WHEREAS,
student representatives of Living Way Christian Academy will visit the capitol
building to serve as pages on Tuesday, February 6, 2007; and
WHEREAS,
the Georgia General Assembly welcomes the interest of young people and
encourages all students who wish to learn more about the democratic process;
and
WHEREAS,
visiting the capitol building is a unique experience that affords the
opportunity to witness legislation first hand; and
WHEREAS,
this body is honored by the presence of these fine young men and
women.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
the student representatives of Living Way Christian Academy, extend to them the
best of wishes in their future endeavors, and recognize the observance of
Tuesday, February 6, 2007 as Living Way Christian Academy Day at the state
capitol.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Living Way Christian
Academy.
