RESOLUTION
Commending
Terrell "Chase" Ogletree on his service as a legislative aide; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the members of this body have been very fortunate to have had the exceptional
service of Terrell "Chase" Ogletree, whose work as a legislative intern has been
marked by his devotion to serving the State of Georgia and his constant
commitment to the highest standards of excellence; and
WHEREAS,
this accomplished young man, who is always very pleasant and in an uplifting
mood, will graduate this May from Georgia State College and University with a
degree in political science and will begin his master´s in teaching degree
over the summer before beginning his teaching career; and
WHEREAS,
as the legislative intern for Senator John J. Wiles and the Senate State and
Local Governmental Operations Committee, Mr. Ogletree has done an excellent job
of conducting research, answering phones, drafting correspondence, aiding
constituents with their inquiries, and hosting various groups such as the Boy
Scouts, duties that he has consistently carried out with the utmost care and
professionalism; and
WHEREAS,
his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience
and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of
Chairman John J. Wiles and the members of the Senate State and Local
Governmental Operations Committee have earned him the respect and admiration of
his colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Ogletree´s hard work and dedication have been an enormous asset to
Georgians everywhere, and all the members of the General Assembly greatly
appreciate the invaluable service of legislative interns such as he who enable
the session to run smoothly and successfully.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join to
commend Terrell "Chase" Ogletree on his outstanding service as a legislative
intern and extend to him their best wishes for the greatest success and
happiness in all his future endeavors.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Terrell "Chase" Ogletree.
