RESOLUTION
Commending
the 2007 Senate aides for their service; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
each year the Senate relies on the citizens of Georgia who are interested in the
legislative process to work as aides to the Senate committees and its
leadership; and
WHEREAS,
these individuals are from many varied backgrounds and from all areas of the
state; and
WHEREAS,
these individuals work closely with the Senate leadership and committee
chairpersons to ensure the smooth working of the legislative and committee
process; and
WHEREAS,
chairpersons and members of the standing committees and Senate leadership salute
each of these 24 individuals for their hard work and a job well done: Kenny
Bradley, Brian Knight, Catherine Craft, Travis Bussey, Jamie Bragg, Brooke
Brannen, Russell Mildner, Andrew Long, Doug Reineke, Lillie McLean, Emily
Morton, Jeremy Brand, Jennifer Arguinzoni, Douglas Gladden, Heather Borst, Seth
Millican, Russell Crutchfield, Jason Mock, Nicholas Bobo, Brandon Phillips,
Daniel Kosinski, Blake Tillery, Ben George, and Mary Margaret
Brannen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
the Senate aides for the 2007 regular session on their superb performance and
convey their best wishes to each of them for success and happiness in their
future pursuits.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to each of the Senate aides
named herein.
