RESOLUTION
Commending
and recognizing Christine Rambeau; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Girl Scouting is open to girls ages five to 17; and the program encourages
increased skill-building and responsibility and also promotes the development of
strong leadership and decision-making skills; and
WHEREAS,
Christine Rambeau of Troop 5809 has ably demonstrated her leadership abilities
obtained through the Girl Scout program; and
WHEREAS,
this outstanding young leader has truly demonstrated a commitment to the
scouting principles of honesty and fairness and has consistently conducted
herself in a manner befitting the high ideals of the Girl Scout program as an
accomplished Senior Girl Scout; and
WHEREAS,
Christine, age 14, exemplifies the spirit of scouting and has discovered her
love of horses and aspires to become an equine veterinarian; and
WHEREAS,
in a world which seems to accentuate the negative aspects of the actions of
young people, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to recognize
with particularity the outstanding accomplishments of this extraordinary
individual.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
and recognize Christine Rambeau on her outstanding leadership skills and
dedication to the Girl Scout program.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Christine Rambeau.
