RESOLUTION
Celebrating
the birth of Elizabeth Karen Pope; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, Hugh and Karen Pope became the proud parents of
Elizabeth Karen Pope; and
WHEREAS,
Hugh and Karen Pope are distinguished citizens of Georgia, and the birth of
their new baby brings joy to all who are privileged to know them;
and
WHEREAS,
it is fitting that this body express its sentiments on this happy
occasion.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body congratulates Hugh and
Karen Pope on the birth of their new baby, Elizabeth Karen Pope, and wishes this
new Georgian a long and happy life.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the proud parents of
Elizabeth Karen Pope.
