RESOLUTION
Commending
Robert Pittman on his service as a legislative intern; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the members of this body have been very fortunate to have had the exceptional
service of Robert Pittman, whose work as a legislative intern has been marked by
his devotion to serving the State of Georgia and his constant commitment to the
highest standards of excellence; and
WHEREAS,
this accomplished young man is known as an outstanding student and is incredibly
successful at any endeavor he pursues; and
WHEREAS,
as an intern, Mr. Pittman has conducted research, summarized bills, assisted
with committee meetings, and aided constituents with their inquiries, duties
that he has consistently carried out with the utmost care and professionalism;
and
WHEREAS,
his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience
and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of the
members of the General Assembly have earned him the respect and admiration of
his colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Pittman's hard work and dedication have been an enormous asset to Georgians
everywhere, and all the members of the General Assembly greatly appreciate the
invaluable service of interns such as he who enable their business to run
smoothly and successfully.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join to
commend Robert Pittman on his outstanding service as a legislative intern and
extend to him their best wishes for the greatest success and happiness in all
his future endeavors.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Robert Pittman.
