RESOLUTION
Commending
Bill Keim; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Bill Keim was recently awarded the Dick McCrudden Award from the Georgia
Association of REALTORS´ (GAR) Political Action Committee (RPAC) for his
service in 2007; and
WHEREAS,
this award is given to an individual who has been instrumental in achieving the
organization´s goals in a given year; and
WHEREAS,
he was lauded for the efforts he put forth on behalf of the organization over
not only the past year but for many years; and
WHEREAS,
in addition to his service to the organization, Mr. Keim also serves on the
REALTORS Issues Action Committee and the Board of Directors for GAR;
and
WHEREAS,
he is the managing broker and co-owner of Signature Properties Group, Inc.,
holds the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation, has served
on the Budget, Nominating, Governmental Affairs, and Strategic Planning
Committees for the Golden Isles Association of REALTORS (GIAR), has served as
treasurer of the association for the past three years, was named 2007 REALTOR of
the Year for the Golden Isles Association of REALTORS, and is the 2009
president-elect for GIAR; and
WHEREAS,
he has been the driving force that has resulted in the amazing success of the
Golden Isles Association of REALTORS of the last several years; and
WHEREAS,
Bill is passionate about RPAC and takes every opportunity to educate members
about issues that affect property owners and REALTORS.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Bill Keim for being the recipient of the Georgia Association of REALTORS´
Political Action Committee Dick McCrudden Award and for his many contributions
to his community and state.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Bill Keim.
